On 23 March 2016 CARS Award Committee has established CARS Honorary Award – the so called Wielka Sowa (Big Owl) – for his exceptional scientific and pracitical achievements in the field of competition law & economics. In 2016 the CARS Honorary Award was granted to Prof. Dr. Stanisław Sołtysiński for his scientific and practical achievements in the broadly understood competition law. The ceremony was held on 20 April 2016 during the CARS Conference “Pursuing damages for competition law infringements before Polish courts”.
