The CARS Honorary Award 2018 was granted to Dr. Stanisław Gronowski, retired judge of the Supreme Administrative Court, 1. President of the Antimonopoly Court, later – Court of the Competition and Consumer Protection, for achievements in the broadly understood competition law. The ceremonial granting of the Award – Wielka Sowa (Big Owl) – was held at 20 June 2018 during the CARS Scientific Conference devoted to the Proposal of the Directive concerning unfair trade practices in the food supply chain. The Laudation in the name of the Award Jury was hold by Prof. Anna Fornalczyk, the 1. President of the Antimonopoly Office, CARS Honorable Award granted in 2016.
