The 6th meeting of the Open PhD Seminar was devoted to an antitrust assessment of agreements on information exchange between competitors.
The introductory speech and following discussion covered information exchange between competitors as well as information exchange in vertical relations and within a network. Participants of the discussion drew attention to the fact that even if an exchange of information between competitors has been an area of antitrust intervention, an exchange of information between non-competitors remains usually out of interest of antitrust authority even though it can influence competition in a negative way.
