The 8th meeting of the Open PhD Seminar was devoted to the problem of granting conditional merger approvals in Poland. The results of the individual research project completed by Prof. T. Skoczny were the basis for the introductory speech. . The project covered a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the decisional practice of the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection concerning conditional approvals.

The introductory speech and discussion focused on: the ratio legis and general rules for granting conditional approvals, types and character of conditions imposed, formulating and imposing conditions and sanctions for the violation of the imposed conditions.
