In December 2018 CASR organized at the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw, an Open PhD Seminar (OSD) focused on the research of Mr Tomasz Walczak, previously member of staff at the Polish Competition and Consumer Protection Office, PhD student at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Adam Mickiewicz University. Mr Tomasz Walczak prepared, under the supervision of Prof. Wojciech Piątek and Dr. Mateusz Chołodecki – both from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Adam Mickiewicz University – a PhD Dissertation entitled ‘Proceedings in cases relating to the protection of collective consumer interest as a special type of administrative proceedings’ [Postępowanie w sprawach z zakresu ochrony zbiorowych interesów konsumentów jako szczególny model postępowania administracyjnego”]

Both reviewers, members of staff of the Competition and Consumer Office as well as peoples interested in administrative proceeding in consumer matters took part in the seminar.
