The green economic transition is forcing a paradigm shift in many areas. Competition law and policy are no exception. The open lecture by Prof. Jurgita Malinauskaite (Brunel University London) this Thursday at WZ UW will provide a good opportunity to reflect on this topic. Prof Malinauskaite is an eminent specialist in competition law and energy law. Her lecture entitledCompetition Law and Sustainability in the EU: Modelling the Perspectives of National Competition Authorities will be based on a cross-cutting article published in January 2023 and will provide an understanding of the challenges facing the application of competition law in times of transition in EU Member States, including Poland.

The lecture is addressed to students, practitioners and academics of competition and energy law, representatives of the administration and anyone interested in green economic transition.

The lecture will take place on 16 March 2023 (Thursday) at 16:30 at the Faculty of Management of the UW (ul. Szturmowa 1/3), in auditorium B-104.
