The second conference of the series under the common title ‘What competition model in the energy sector?’, co-organized by the Centre of Antitrust and Regulatory Studies and the Polish Energy Regulatory Office, dedicated to energy policy and regulation of energy in Poland, which became a platform for an intensive exchange of opinions by researchers and representatives of the industry.

The second conference of the series was held on 20 May 2008. It focused on selected directions of Polish energy policy till 2030, directions of evolution of energy markets and methods of financing new investments.

The conference was organized in the form of three panel discussions. The first panel was focused on the 3x20 energy and climate package. The second panel was devoted to the problems of financing new investments in power sector . The third panel dealt with the development of the Polish energy market.
