Conference: History of Competition Law
On 31 August 2021 the University of Szeged, the Centre for Antitrust and Regulatory Studies of University of Warsaw, and the ASCOLA Central Europe Chapter jointly organised an international online conference on the history of competition law in the comparative context.

Status of private enforcement of competition law in CEE countries
Please be informed that under the leadership of Dr. Dominik Wolski, with the participation of Dr. Marta Mackiewicz, Dr. Tomasz Bagdziński and Dr. Mateusz Dąbroś, CARS has launched a research project Status of private enforcement of competition law in CEE countries. The main objective of the project is to examine the status of private enforcement of competition law in CEE countries, in particular an impact of the transposition of the Damages Directive (Directive 2014/104/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 November 2014 on certain rules governing actions for damages under national law for infringements of the competition law provisions of the Member States and of the European, OJ L 349, 5.12.2014, p. 1–19) into the legal systems of EU Member States on the current state of private enforcement of competition law. The meeting is organised in frame of the Jean Monnet Network on Enforcement of EU Law (EULEN) together with the Centre for Antitrust and Regulatory Studies of University of Warsaw (CARS) and the Chair of European Law, Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw.
