CARS 2017 Awards Gala and Regulatory Panel
The "CARS 2017 Award" (regulatory) will be officially presented on May 18, 2017 at 14.00 in Room B-205 of the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw (building B, 2nd floor), ul. Szturmowa 1/3, 02-678 Warsaw.
The founder of the award is PKO Bank Polski SA.
Directly after the Gala, there will be a "Regulators Panel" devoted to " Activities of sectoral regulators on the implementation of the Strategy for Responsible Development ".
We cordially invite CARS associates and all interested parties to participate in both events.

The CARS Electronic Communication Laboratory was established
On April 21, 2017, the Laboratory of Electronic Communications (LKE CARS) begins its activity as part of the Center for Antimonopoly and Regulatory Studies (CARS) of the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw. It is the fourth CARS unit of this type, constituting a special form of implementing CARS statutory tasks in the areas of regulated and specific sectors. So far, the Civil Aviation Laboratory, the Postal Services Laboratory and the Laboratory for Rail Transport and Public Public Transport have been established.

On April 19, 2017, the "Agreement on cooperation between the Polish Center for Antimonopoly and Regulatory Studies and the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency" was signed.

Reform of Regulation 1/2003 – Effectiveness of the NCAs and Beyond
We are delighted to invite you to the international workshops “Reform of Regulation 1/2003 – Effectiveness of the NCAs and Beyond”, which will be held at the Faculty of Management (University of Warsaw) on 28 April 2017 at 9.30 am – 6 pm in the room B-205. The goal of the workshop is to discuss – in the light of the European Commission’s proposals of changes – the challenges faced by national competition authorities. The workshop is organized by CARS and the British scientific association Competition Law Scholars Forum (CLaSF).

CARS Honorary Award 2017 - Wielka Sowa (Big Owl) - for Prof. Anna Forlnalczyk

We are happy to invite you to attend the CARS lecture Reflections on the role of economics in the interpretation of EU competition law, which will be held by dr Kathryn Mc Mahon (University of Warwick).

Conference: Judicial control of the President of UKE's decision
On December 6, 2016 from 11.00 - 16.00 Center for Antimonopoly and Regulatory Studies of the University of Warsaw and Kancelaria Modzelewska & amp; Pasnik are organizing a conference at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw on judicial review of the decisions of the President of UKE. The conference will consist of two panels. The first will be devoted to evidence, and the second to the nature of judgments amending and revoking the decisions of the President of UKE.
