ASCOLA Central Europe Chapter
The Central Europe Chapter of ASCOLA - the Academic Society for Competition Law - is directed by Dr hab. Maciej Bernatt with the collaboration of Dr Laura Zoboli and aims at connecting competition law academics and practitioners in Central Europe and at raising awareness of relevant news, events and opportunities. Cooperation with the Institute of Telecommunications
On November 14, 2016, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw and the Institute of Telecommunications in Warsaw. CARS will carry out most of the tasks resulting from this agreement.

The creation of the English-language version of this publication is financed in the framework of contract No. 768/P-DUN/2016 by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education committed to activities aimed at the promotion of education.

Guest Lecture "Chicago School of Antitrust” by prof. Michael Jacobs
We are happy to announce that on 11 October 2016 CARS is organizing the 1st guest lecture in new academic year. Prof. Michael Jacobs from DePaul University Chicago will hold a lecture at 5.30 pm at the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw, on the significance of Chicago School of Antitrust “The Durability of the Chicago School in Antitrust: What Accounts for it?”.
Prof. Jacobs is a renowned expert in the US antitrust law. His papers were published in the most prestigious American journals like Antirust Law Journal or Yale Law Journal. His work was also cited by the US Supreme Court. Prof. Jacobs teaches also at universities in Australia and China. See more.
The lecture is part of the CARS Guest Lectures dedicated to axiology of competition protection.
